Function is building the premier infrastructure for Bitcoin in DeFi, enabling BTC to be used productively across chains via FBTC, a secure, omnichain BTC wrapper with over $1.5B in TVL across 10+ chains. Backed by top-tier investors (Galaxy, Antalpha, Mantle), Function is scaling across L2s, protocols, and institutional partners.

🎯 Your Responsibilities

• Strategic Growth Planning:
• Identify, prioritize, and validate high-impact expansion opportunities (new chains, LPs, integrations).
• Go-to-Market Execution:
• Run experiments and pilots to test strategies and accelerate adoption.
• Partnership Development:
• Lead end-to-end BD cycles—from outreach to deployment—with DeFi protocols, wallets, L2s, and institutions.
• Relationship Management:
• Maintain and grow key ecosystem partnerships, ensuring long-term alignment and traction.
• Cross-Functional Alignment:
• Work closely with marketing and product teams to ensure execution matches strategic intent. Track KPIs and outcomes.

🧠 Who You Are

• Crypto-native operator with strong understanding of DeFi, BTCFi, cross-chain infra, and vault mechanics.
• Experienced in sourcing, structuring, and closing deals.
• Strategic thinker who thrives in 0→1 environments with ambiguity and high velocity.
• Effective communicator—both structured and persuasive.
• Able to work cross-functionally and independently.

✅ Preferred Experience

• 3–6+ years in crypto business development, strategy, or ecosystem roles.
• Strong familiarity with DeFi, BTC yield primitives, and cross-chain ecosystems.
• Experience working with both crypto-native and institutional stakeholders.
• Demonstrated success in leading strategic BD initiatives.

• Launched or scaled revenue-generating ecosystem initiatives.
