Business Development Manager - APAC
Location: Remote - APAC, Hong Kong, Singapore
Job Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $100K – $130K + Sales Commission + Equity Options Available

Role Overview
We are expanding our Business Development team in the APAC region and are looking for a motivated and result-driven individual to sell our staking services to global institutions, enabling them to earn additional income on their crypto assets. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in scaling our business in the rapidly growing blockchain ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Building Relationships
- Leverage existing relationships and develop new ones with institutional investors, financial institutions, and integration partners to create new business opportunities.
- Represent Chorus One at industry events, conferences, and other networking opportunities to build relationships and drive business development in the APAC region.
- Customer Focus
- Understand the needs and challenges of institutional clients and design solutions tailored to them.
- Develop relationships with potential institutional clients such as family offices, hedge funds, asset managers, and other financial institutions.
- Sales Effectiveness
- Collaborate closely with the Global Head of BD and Sales and Head of APAC to execute sales strategies and meet/exceed sales KPIs.
- Lead outreach and outbound campaigns, and provide regular feedback and reports based on ongoing sales activities and customer/partner interactions.
- Manage the full sales process using Salesforce, from lead generation and qualification to negotiations and deal closures.
- Prepare and present compelling proposals and presentations that clearly communicate the value proposition of Chorus One’s services.
- Compliance and Regulation
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure compliance with regulations affecting institutional clients in the APAC region.
- Collaboration and Teamwork
- Work closely with internal departments like marketing, research, engineering, and product teams to align Chorus One’s offerings with institutional client needs.
- Industry Knowledge
- Maintain a deep understanding of the cryptocurrency and blockchain ecosystem, particularly Proof-of-Stake networks.
- Understand the APAC regulatory landscape to effectively target and engage potential clients and partners across different regions.
Job Requirements
We are looking for someone who has:
- A bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in institutional sales and relationship management within the financial services industry in the APAC region.
- At least 2 years of Business Development experience within the blockchain ecosystem.
- A deep understanding of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.
- Strong financial analysis skills with experience assessing investment strategies and risks.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex concepts to clients and internal teams.
- Proven track record of generating new business and building strong relationships with institutional clients.
- The ability to work independently and in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- A willingness to travel as needed for conferences, meetings, and events.
- Proficiency in Chinese, Korean, Japanese, or another APAC language is a plus.
Preferred Location: Hong Kong or Singapore
