🔍 Overview

Join Coinbase’s blockchain data engineering team to build high-quality data pipelines, developer tools, and self-serve analytics products that leverage blockchain data for internal use and product innovation. You’ll be helping scale onchain infrastructure for millions of users.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Build ETL/ELT pipelines for ingesting and transforming blockchain data
• Develop trusted, reliable blockchain data models and tools for self-service
• Implement data quality frameworks and reliability checks
• Create custom blockchain analytics, heuristics, and models
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Data Science, ML, and Platform teams

✅ Requirements

• Deep blockchain knowledge (transactions, tokens, UTXO/account models, labeling, etc.)
• Expertise in Python (Go is a plus)
• Strong SQL skills for transformation and optimization
• Experience with Airflow, ETL pipelines, and data modeling (star/snowflake schemas)
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (Superset, Looker, Hex, Plotly, etc.)
• Understanding of DevOps practices (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Git)
• Comfort with prompt engineering / use of LLMs in workflows (bonus)

➕ Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Spark, Flink, or Beam
• Graph or key-value database experience
• Experience working with financial or crypto datasets
