About the Role:

After six years of successful leadership, our founder, Basile, is seeking a successor to take the reins as the new CEO. As the CEO of Chainlabs, you will be responsible for leading operations, driving hiring efforts, and shaping the strategy for new product initiatives. This dynamic role involves overseeing multiple Data Intelligence projects and requires a meticulous attention to detail. You will play a key role in the Crypto AML regulation space, and your efforts will be instrumental in shaping the company’s long-term vision. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact within the Web3 ecosystem while working remotely with a talented team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the day-to-day operations of Chainlabs, including agile project management, standup calls, and goal setting for our labeling operations.
• Coordinate intelligence analysts and OSINT subject matter experts to achieve wallet labeling objectives.
• Oversee high standards in data operations, ensuring documentation and quality controls are in place for all data-related processes.
• Drive the pace and resource allocation for data labeling R&D, including technical projects related to wallet data collection and analysis.
• Secure partnerships and sales with cybersecurity and analytics companies in the Web3 and crypto space.
• Envision, plan, and execute new data analytics products leveraging our wallet database.
• Set challenging and achievable goals for the team to grow the business and enhance product offerings.
• Ensure that our products and services align with the latest trends in blockchain technology, cryptocurrency, and AML regulation.

Requirements:

• Proven operational leadership experience in a startup environment, including technical project management, and experience in managing human and financial resources.
• Expertise in Web3 on-chain analytics or AML/financial cybercrime.
• Strong ability to balance execution speed with maintaining data integrity and following structured processes.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify new product opportunities and execute on them.
• A data-centric mindset—strong understanding of data collection processes and overseeing data analytics.
• Exceptional attention to detail to ensure the highest standards in data collection, analysis, and documentation.

Nice to Haves:

• Familiarity with blockchain analytics platforms like Chainalysis, TRM, Nansen, and Dune.
• Engineering degree or familiarity with relational databases and hands-on experience in data analytics.
• Experience in software project management, working with both back-end and front-end engineers.
