Role Overview:

Tatum is looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join their team of 8 dedicated engineers. Key Responsibilities:

• Cloud Infrastructure Management: Ensure the smooth operation of Tatum's services and maintain efficient delivery timelines.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Deploy and manage GitLab CI/CD pipelines tailored for Kubernetes deployments.
• Infrastructure Observability: Build strong observability tools for monitoring infrastructure and product performance.
• Scalability: Collaborate closely with developers to reinforce system infrastructure and enhance scalability.
• Service Performance: Implement and improve observability systems to optimize service performance and reliability.
• Operational Standards: Establish operational standards and create comprehensive documentation for clarity in processes.
• Automation: Enhance system automation for better self-healing capabilities and streamlined operations.
• Cloud & Database Administration: Administer cloud and database systems to ensure uninterrupted service availability.
• Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve production issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
• Service Quality: Uphold service quality standards to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

Technology Stack:

• Public Clouds: Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and on-prem servers.
• Orchestration & Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes (GKE), GitLab CI.
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible, code-first approach.
• Databases: MongoDB, Redis.
• Blockchain Support: Working with 100+ blockchains and Tatum's Node.JS applications.
• Observability Tools: Grafana Stack (Metrics, Logs, Traces).

Requirements:

• Experience: At least 2 years of experience as a Cloud or DevOps engineer.
• Blockchain Interest: A strong interest in blockchain technology.
• Orchestration & Containerization: Experience with tools like Docker, Kubernetes.
• System Configuration Automation: Familiar with Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Experience with Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Observability Tools: Experience with Grafana Stack.
• Cloud Platforms: Experience with GCP, or other cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Language: Comfortable communicating in English.
• On-Call Duty: Willingness to take on-call duties in a distributed team.
• Proactive Attitude: Ability to contribute new ideas and problem-solving solutions.
