We represent over 100 member organizations across the blockchain ecosystem, including software developers, infrastructure providers, exchanges, custodians, investors, and others supporting the public blockchain space.
Role and Responsibilities:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Industry Affairs Administrative Associate to provide administrative support to our Industry Affairs team. This role is vital to maintaining strong relationships with both current and prospective members, ensuring accurate data management, and supporting essential internal processes.
As the Industry Affairs Administrative Associate, you will report to the Industry Affairs Senior Director and Senior Associate. Your responsibilities will include:
Administrative and Operational Support:
- Provide scheduling and calendar coordination for the Industry Affairs team and working groups.
- Schedule meetings with members and arrange updates with the Policy and/or Legal teams as required.
- Respond to member inquiries promptly and professionally, directing them to the appropriate teams or contacts for follow-up.
- Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, notes, and supporting materials for member meetings and working group calls.
- Draft clear and concise meeting briefs for senior leadership.
Member Relations:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective members, ensuring a welcoming and collaborative community environment.
- Serve as the Industry Affairs point of contact for welcoming guests to the office and assisting with building access and workspace as needed.
- Assist with the onboarding of new members and the offboarding of former members, ensuring smooth transitions.
Research and Data Management:
- Conduct research and analysis to support the vetting process for new members, ensuring they meet the Blockchain Association’s membership eligibility requirements.
- Manage and maintain accurate member records and databases.
- Compile and generate various lists and reports as requested by internal departments.
- Lead bi-annual audits of member organizations to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Qualifications:
To qualify for this role, you should:
- Be passionate about customer service and building strong member relations.
- Possess exceptional attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
- Be able to effectively manage multiple tasks and prioritize them.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Be proficient in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software (Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite).
- Be a team player who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced, and creative environment.
- Be self-motivated with a proactive approach to both traditional and unexpected assignments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with membership management systems or CRM tools.
- A demonstrated interest in and understanding of crypto and blockchain technology.
Our ideal candidate will have proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or Office Manager, with a strong focus on organization and attention to detail. You will be the welcoming face for our members, both in person and via email or phone, and will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our growing association.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Base Salary Range: USD $65,000 - $75,000 annually.
