About This Role:

As a Senior Copywriter at TrustSwap, you will join a dynamic marketing team focused on creating compelling and strategic copy that resonates within the crypto ecosystem. This role offers a unique opportunity to work cross-functionally across various business units, providing concise and impactful copy for a variety of platforms and audiences.

What You'll Do:

• Ownership of Copy Briefs: Take charge of writing high-standard copy briefs and deliver exceptional content.
• Creative Strategy Development: Develop forward-thinking creative strategies that align with current media trends and campaign objectives.
• Idea Generation: Contribute to creative brainstorming sessions, offering new ideas and encouraging others to do the same.
• Quality Control: Review and edit copy created by junior team members, offering constructive feedback.
• Deadline Management: Ensure timely delivery of all assigned content, meeting deadlines consistently.
• Client Interaction: Collaborate with clients to ensure copy meets their needs and expectations.
• Content Research: Research industry topics, identifying gaps and opportunities in our content offerings.
• Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring seamless transitions from one task to another.
• Copywriting: Write original content for ads, social media, and articles.
• SEO & Content Optimization: Use SEO practices to enhance articles and improve visibility.
• Collaboration with Design Team: Work with designers to add visual elements to text-based content, like images and charts.
• Reporting & Metrics: Create reports on content performance (e.g., web traffic, conversion rates) and track metrics to evaluate content effectiveness.
• Fact-Checking & Editing: Review and edit content produced by junior copywriters, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Content Updates: Ensure all content is current and relevant.

What You Bring to the Team:

• Experience: 5+ years of writing experience, ideally in a fast-paced and digital environment.
• Education: A BA or BS degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in WordPress and experience in creating content for Web3 companies.
• Collaboration: Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including product, operations, and engineering teams.
• Time Management: Ability to manage multiple, time-sensitive initiatives and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Interest in Crypto: A genuine interest in cryptocurrency, decentralized finance (DeFi), or financial products.
• Portfolio: Please provide links to 4 published articles you have written. Only live URLs are accepted — no documents.
• Content Expertise: Strong knowledge of how to create content that engages crypto and finance audiences, and experience with creating content for social media, ads, and websites.
