About the Role:

Binance is looking for a Backend Engineer (Java) to join its engineering team. You’ll work across the full software development life cycle — from gathering requirements to designing, coding, testing, and deployment — helping to build and scale Binance’s global blockchain ecosystem. Your contributions will focus on infrastructure upgrades, system architecture, and regulatory compliance solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle full lifecycle software development: requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Drive technical architecture decisions, design processes, code reviews, and hands-on development.
• Lead infrastructure and system upgrades to support scalability.
• Design and implement solutions to meet governmental regulatory requirements (e.g., invoice generation, user reporting, regulatory system integration).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality product and system designs.
• Stay updated on cutting-edge technologies in crypto and integrate innovations into Binance’s products and services.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of professional experience as a backend engineer or similar role.
• Strong Core Java programming skills (hands-on coding required).
• Hands-on experience with the Spring Framework (preferred).
• Solid background with Linux/Unix systems and server-side application development.
• Familiarity with software design patterns and RESTful API architectures.
• Strong SQL skills; experience in handling both structured and unstructured data is a plus.
• Experience with SOAP web services (significant plus).
• Background in financial systems, tax compliance, or invoicing is a major advantage.
• Experience at top-tier internet companies or in the crypto industry is highly desirable.
