On-chain Data Analyst (12 months contract)

About the Role:

Binance is seeking an On-chain Data Analyst to drive advanced analytics across blockchain-related initiatives, helping turn raw blockchain data into strategic insights for business decisions, campaign tracking, and performance evaluations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with on-chain business units to design and implement advanced analytics projects.
• Provide analytical support for on-chain campaigns like airdrops, staking programs, ensuring accurate tracking of eligibility, rewards distribution, and ROI analysis.
• Build and maintain dashboards and visualizations (using Dune Analytics, Tableau, etc.) to monitor blockchain metrics such as TVL, user activity, and gas trends.
• Work within a fast-paced, time-sensitive blockchain environment to deliver insights that drive critical decisions.

Requirements:

• Degree in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Sciences, Computer Science, Engineering, or Life Sciences).
• 3-5 years of full-time experience in Analytics or Data Science roles.
• Strong self-drive with the ability to quickly learn new tools and techniques.
• Deep blockchain knowledge:
• Mastery of EVM chains (Ethereum, BNB Chain, Polygon) including consensus mechanisms, transaction structures, smart contract execution.
• Ability to decode transactions and logs/events (ABI parsing, event analysis).
• Technical expertise:
• Expert with Dune Analytics (SQL + dashboards).
• Familiar with platforms like Nansen or Glassnode.
• Ability to query raw blockchain datasets (e.g., using BigQuery for Ethereum/Solana).
• Competency in at least two of the following:
• Data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Qlikview)
• Graph querying languages (NoSQL, Neo4J)
• Programming languages (Python, C++, Java)
• Knowledge of Non-EVM chains (e.g., Solana, SUI)
