Join the Agent Productivity Tools (APT) team at Coinbase and help build internal customer experience platforms that enhance the efficiency of support and compliance operations. As a Backend Software Engineer, you'll develop scalable, secure backend services using Go and modern frontend technologies like React. You’ll play a key role in transforming enterprise tools and infrastructure in support of Coinbase’s mission to increase economic freedom worldwide.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain backend services and customer-facing platforms using Go (Golang) and React.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement features that improve customer service and KYC compliance efficiency.
• Follow best practices in testing, CI/CD, logging/metrics, and production support.
• Participate in an agile team environment, engaging in planning, code reviews, and on-call rotations.
• Drive system improvements by leveraging a deep understanding of Coinbase's architecture and engineering principles.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience building scalable web services and web applications.
• Proficient in JavaScript, React, and component-based architectures.
• Familiarity with the full development lifecycle, from design to deployment and support.
• Strong communication skills and comfort working across distributed teams and time zones.

Nice to haves:

• Experience with cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, Terraform, or GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with Python, TypeScript, or SaaS platforms.
