About the Role:
As a Business Development Representative (BDR) for Australia and New Zealand (ANZ), you will be at the forefront of helping customers reimagine their digital experiences using Adobe solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to identify and develop new sales opportunities within our existing Experience Cloud Install Base. By engaging with key stakeholders and understanding their needs, you will drive revenue growth and support Adobe’s sales organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take a consultative approach to selling by understanding customers’ business challenges, goals, and objectives before recommending tailored Adobe solutions.
- Generate high-quality pipeline opportunities by managing inbound lead follow-ups and outbound prospecting efforts.
- Execute a structured territory creation plan in collaboration with Account Executives.
- Research key accounts, identify decision-makers, and generate interest to stimulate business opportunities.
- Qualify inbound leads and target accounts to create sales-ready opportunities.
- Set up, attend, and lead qualification meetings with potential customers alongside Account Executives and Solution Consultants.
- Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions, updating CRM tools (Salesforce, Outreach) to ensure a seamless transition of leads.
- Continuously provide feedback and insights to improve sales processes and lead generation strategies.
What You Need to Succeed:
- Proven track record of success in business development, enterprise solutions, software, or technology sales.
- Strong self-motivation, independence, and resilience in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience in managing the full BDR process, including account planning, pre-call research, opportunity qualification, and handling objections.
- Ability to quickly understand complex business challenges and translate customer needs into Adobe solution offerings.
- Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve inside sales goals in an automated sales environment.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce, Outreach) and other sales engagement tools.
