Role Overview

Canva is looking for a Senior Art Director to shape and elevate its creative presence across Brazil and Mexico. This includes leading visual direction across campaigns and bringing culturally resonant ideas to life across digital, print, and live experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead visual direction for brand, product, and performance campaigns
• Develop culturally relevant ideas for social, OOH, TV, events, and digital
• Pitch creative concepts to senior stakeholders with clarity and confidence
• Collaborate with copywriters, designers, and freelancers across regions
• Provide direction to vendors and manage execution timelines
• Ensure all creative is thoughtful, strategic, and visually engaging

You’re a Match If You Have

• 7+ years in advertising or related creative roles
• A strong, versatile portfolio showing originality and craft
• Experience across multiple formats: digital, social, product, OOH
• Proficiency in Figma and digital design tools
• Bonus: experience in art-directing film or photoshoots
• Fluent Portuguese, strong Spanish, and good English
• Willingness to work flexible hours for global team collaboration

Team & Culture

You’ll work within Canva’s LATAM Marketing Team, which blends global strategies with local insights to drive growth in the region. Collaboration spans across brand, performance, events, partnerships, and community initiatives.

• Remote work within Mexico is allowed
• Evening availability may be needed for global meetings (6–9 PM)
