About the Role:

Join Coinbase’s Coinbase Card team to build and scale the crypto Card product focused on global availability, security of funds, reliability, and ease of use. You’ll work primarily in Golang and be responsible for backend services supporting the Card program.

Responsibilities:

• Build new backend services using Golang to meet product and business needs
• Help define long-term vision and roadmap for backend systems scalability and maintenance
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and leadership on product and technical roadmaps
• Write high-quality, well-tested code

Requirements:

• 2+ years experience in software engineering
• Experience working on Card products at scale
• Designed, built, scaled, and maintained production services in service-oriented architectures
• Passion for building an open financial system

Nice to Have:

• Experience in rapid company growth phases (startup to mid-size)
• Experience building growth experiments or A/B testing
• Blockchain experience (Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc.)
• Experience decomposing monoliths into microservices
• Familiarity with Golang, Postgres, MongoDB
• Experience building financial, secure, high-reliability systems
• Crypto-forward experience (onchain activity, dApps, etc.)
