Location: Remote (US-based, SF Bay Area optional)

Compensation: $196,000 – $220,500 + Equity + Benefits

Role Overview:

Discord is looking for a Product Manager to lead its Experimentation Platform, a mission-critical system that enables rapid, confident product iteration across all teams. You’ll define the vision and strategy to elevate experimentation quality, velocity, and usability company-wide.

This is a horizontal leadership role, partnering across engineering, data science, and product, to build and refine infrastructure that supports scalable, scientifically rigorous A/B testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive roadmap for Discord’s Experimentation Platform
• Build tools that improve testing accuracy and automation
• Resolve systemic experimentation challenges (e.g., bias, sample ratio mismatch)
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve testing rigor and outcomes
• Create educational materials and standards for experiment design

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience shipping software or platforms with a focus on experimentation
• Expertise in A/B testing tools, causal inference, and experimentation statistics
• Fluency in SQL, Python, or R; experience with BigQuery
• Technical background (CS, engineering, math, etc.) or equivalent experience
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams in a complex environment
