Role Overview
Join Canva’s CJKI group to drive enterprise sales and channel partnerships in Japan. This role balances direct client engagement with partner management, aiming to grow Canva’s footprint by localizing strategies that resonate deeply with the Japanese market.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, focusing on key industries aligned with Canva’s B2B priorities.
- Enable and manage channel partners (distributors and resellers), providing training and support to champion Canva.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to localize and align sales strategies with Japanese business culture.
- Tailor Canva’s value proposition to address client-specific needs and pain points.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasting and pipeline management via CRM tools.
- Lead partner and enterprise workshops, trainings, and roadshows to boost adoption.
- Act as a trusted advisor, delivering customer insights to inform product roadmap and go-to-market plans.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of proven success in B2B SaaS sales with consistent quota overachievement.
- Fluent in Japanese; professional-level English communication skills.
- Experienced selling to enterprise customers, ideally engaging marketing, design, or IT stakeholders.
- Skilled in both direct sales and channel partner enablement.
- Strong strategic thinker with excellent relationship-building skills.
- Self-starter with a growth mindset and passion for disrupting traditional workflows.
