About the Role:

Discord is seeking an experienced Account Manager to join its Gaming Advertising Solutions business line, Quests. You’ll be responsible for managing and growing client relationships with crossplatform gaming companies, helping them reach their audiences via advertising on Discord. This role requires a combination of advertising expertise, relationship management, strategic thinking, and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own client relationships and manage advertising campaign performance for crossplatform gaming clients.
• Communicate with clients and internal stakeholders daily to ensure campaign success.
• Analyze and report on campaign performance to drive optimization and renewals.
• Collaborate across sales, product, marketing, ops, and data teams to meet KPIs.
• Develop strategic, customized advertising solutions for gaming partners.
• Identify upsell opportunities based on performance metrics and client goals.
• Travel for in-person client meetings (as needed in-region).

Requirements:

• 6+ years of account management experience in advertising, digital marketing, or media.
• At least 1 year of experience in the gaming industry or adjacent digital verticals.
• Deep understanding of ad measurement tools (MMPs, pixels, APIs, attribution tools).
• Proven ability to manage full-funnel campaigns (performance + brand).
• Strong data analysis skills and the ability to translate data into insights.
• Excellent storytelling and client presentation skills.
• Experience with digital buying platforms and optimization tactics.
• Strong technical and problem-solving aptitude.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience at major ad platforms (Meta, Google, Apple, Snap, Reddit, etc.).
• Familiarity with mobile, web, and console gaming campaigns (AAA, indie, mobile).
• Hands-on with programmatic platforms and DSPs.
• Experience with MMPs like Adjust, AppsFlyer, or Branch.
• Deep familiarity with and use of Discord.
• Existing relationships in the gaming or ad tech industries.
• Team-oriented with a collaborative and humble mindset.
