• Compensation: $272,000 – $306,000 OTE + equity + benefits

About the Role:

Discord is seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Account Executive to join as a founding member of its new Quests ads business, focused on the mobile gaming sector. This is a high-impact sales role aimed at developing strategic relationships with game publishers, studios, and media agencies to generate new and repeatable ad revenue streams.

This role offers the unique opportunity to operate in a zero-to-one environment, helping to shape Discord’s advertising offering for one of its most passionate user segments—gamers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive new business and grow strategic partnerships within the mobile gaming industry.
• Prospect, negotiate, and close deals with game publishers, studios, and their agencies.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to influence ad product development and scalability.
• Deliver client-centric ad proposals and campaign strategies tailored to marketing needs.
• Build and nurture long-term relationships with senior marketing decision-makers.
• Represent Discord’s vision and expertise at industry events and in client interactions.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years in ad sales, with a proven track record in the gaming industry.
• Demonstrated success building new business from scratch in mobile advertising.
• Strong industry network with gaming publishers and media agencies.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate performance data and optimize campaigns.
• Experience influencing product strategy through internal cross-functional collaboration.
• Willingness to travel for in-person meetings across the region.
