Account Manager – Media & Entertainment

Location: Los Angeles, CA or Greater NYC Area

Compensation: $180,000 – $202,500 + Equity + Benefits

Role Summary:

Discord is seeking a Media & Entertainment Account Manager to manage and grow strategic partnerships within its Entertainment Advertising Solutions division. This role focuses on helping studios, streamers, and media brands connect with passionate communities through impactful campaigns on Discord.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own campaign performance for clients across film, TV, sports, music, and streaming
• Manage daily client communication and expectations
• Create reports with performance insights and recommendations
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Marketing, and Data
• Optimize and upsell campaigns based on KPIs and brand goals
• Represent Discord at industry events and meetings

Requirements:

• 6+ years in advertising/media with quota-carrying roles
• 2+ years in entertainment verticals (film, TV, sports, music)
• Experience with full-funnel, programmatic campaigns
• Strong storytelling and data analysis skills
• Understanding of entertainment marketing cycles and KPIs

Preferred Experience:

• Worked with major entertainment platforms (Netflix, Disney, Meta, etc.)
• Familiar with Discord servers and fan community engagement
• Knowledge of premiere schedules, award seasons, and franchise launches
