About the Job

Binance, the world’s leading blockchain ecosystem behind the largest cryptocurrency exchange, is looking for an AI Application Software Engineer. This role is critical for delivering production-grade AI applications that enhance user experience, automate workflows, and power intelligent user interactions.

As part of the team, you will help build AI agents that directly serve millions of users, enabling the seamless execution of multi-step plans, improving overall system efficiency, and optimizing workflows.

Responsibilities

• AI Bot Project Management: Oversee the entire project lifecycle, including planning, implementation, maintenance, and tuning.
• AI Agent Architecture: Design and implement AI agent architectures that can understand user requests, reason through complex problems, and execute multi-step plans.
• Tool & API Integration: Build frameworks to enable AI agents to interact with various tools, APIs, and services.
• Human-AI Collaboration: Create mechanisms for effective collaboration, including clarifications, feedback, guidance, and follow-up questions.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize AI agents' performance for reliability, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Monitoring & Evaluation: Build systems to monitor and evaluate agent performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other teams to integrate agents into products and workflows.
• Research: Stay updated with the latest developments in AI agent technology.

Requirements

• Education:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, or a related field.
• Experience:
• 3+ years of experience in building AI/ML systems and production-grade AI applications, especially autonomous agents.
• Strong expertise in Python and Java programming languages.
• Practical experience with large language models (e.g., GPT, Claude, Gemini, Deepseek), prompt engineering, MCP, RAG, and similar technologies.
• Knowledge of reinforcement learning, planning algorithms, and decision-making systems.
• Familiarity with the tools, APIs, and infrastructure necessary for agent deployment.
• Experience with workflow orchestration and system design.
• Skills:
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing an AI chatbot/agent application using frameworks like Dify or LangChain.
• Familiarity with CS chatbot development, including user intent recognition, conversation, and knowledge base enhancement.
• Experience in data analysis, model tuning, data cleaning, and feature engineering.
