About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Algorithmic Trader to join our high-performance quantitative trading business. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in market making and arbitrage strategies and play a leading role in managing trading logic, maximizing P&L, and scaling Binance’s crypto trading desk across centralized and decentralized platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategy Development & Management:
• Design, operate, and continuously improve algorithmic trading strategies across crypto electronic platforms.
• Maximize profit and loss (P&L) while maintaining alignment with business goals.
• Ownership & Roadmapping:
• Own and operate your strategy’s “trading desk” with autonomy.
• Define and execute the roadmap for strategy expansion and diversification.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with quant developers to translate ideas into production-grade trading systems.
• Partner with operations and clearing teams for new instrument onboarding, P&L verification, and capital deployment.
• Innovation:
• Contribute to liquidity innovation projects across both centralized exchanges and decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols.

Requirements:

• Education: Master’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Experience:
• 8+ years in algorithmic trading, preferably with a market making firm, hedge fund, or high-frequency trading (HFT) firm.
• Proven success in deploying and managing profitable trading strategies.
• Technical Expertise:
• Deep understanding of market microstructure, order book dynamics, and trading data analysis.
• Hands-on experience in market making, arbitrage, and optionally alpha signal generation.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL; C++ or Java is a plus.
• Skills:
• Strong quantitative modeling ability.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Effective communicator with the ability to work across global, remote teams.
