Role Overview

The AML/Regulatory Analyst will play a key role in ensuring Binance’s compliance with global and local regulatory requirements. This position involves supporting AML reporting activities, reviewing cases, and collaborating with stakeholders to maintain strong compliance standards across all aspects of the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Regulatory Reporting: Serve as the primary point of reference for reporting activities to public authorities and regulators.
• Documentation & Compliance: Produce documents in accordance with local regulatory obligations and global policies.
• Case Management: Review assigned cases, providing guidance to stakeholders on next steps and escalating when necessary.
• Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders to enhance AML reporting and ensure accuracy.
• Process Improvement: Lead projects aimed at streamlining KYC/KYB and EDD processes.
• Training & Development: Participate in internal and external AML/CFT programs.
• General Administration: Support related administrative activities as required.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Experience: 3-4+ years in AML compliance, auditing, or regulatory roles within a financial institution, government agency, or fintech company.
• Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Mexican legislation regarding cryptocurrencies, fintech, and reporting obligations.
• Skills: Proficiency in English (written and verbal); Advanced Excel skills (SQL, Python are a plus).
• Personal Traits: Self-motivated, detail-oriented, proactive, able to work under pressure, and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Collaboration: Strong ability to work within a highly skilled, international team.
