About the Role

This role focuses on ongoing compliance for existing Adyen customers through periodic Customer Due Diligence (CDD) reviews. Instead of onboarding new merchants, you’ll monitor and assess risk over time by reviewing legal entity structures, ownership, and significant changes that affect risk exposure. You’ll interact regularly with merchants and internal teams, helping ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular KYC and CDD reviews on existing customers, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulations
• Manage case files and workflows in an organized, queue-based system
• Communicate with merchants professionally via email and Zoom to request documents or clarifications
• Provide risk insights to internal stakeholders balancing compliance and commercial needs
• Contribute to improving workflows through automation and documentation

Who You Are

• Detail-oriented, methodical, with interest in compliance, regulation, or financial crime prevention
• 1-2 years’ experience in Customer Due Diligence, Enhanced Due Diligence, or KYC
• Comfortable with structured tasks and documentation review
• Strong communicator able to tailor messaging to different audiences (merchants and senior stakeholders)
• Proactive, able to take ownership and work independently with team guidance
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Willing to travel occasionally (up to 10%)
