🚀 About the Role

This is a senior leadership opportunity to build and scale a high-performing in-house content team for India’s leading fintech brand. The role is highly strategic and execution-focused, responsible for shaping PhonePe’s digital content strategy across platforms and products, including fintech, consumer tech, and financial literacy initiatives.

📌 Key Responsibilities

🔹 Content Strategy & Execution

• Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy across business units (Insurance, Lending, Wealth, Pincode, Share.Market, Indus AppStore).
• Own multi-format content: blogs, videos, SEO pages, product marketing, financial education content, etc.

🔹 Build a Content Center of Excellence

• Set up and lead a high-impact content team: writers, strategists, SEO experts, video creators.
• Foster a culture of innovation, creativity, and digital-first thinking.

🔹 Digital & Video Content

• Drive video strategy for new media (e.g., short-form content, explainers, brand videos).
• Lead execution across digital channels with an emphasis on engagement and ROI.

🔹 Cross-Functional Leadership

• Collaborate with Product, Growth, Marketing, Brand, and Business teams to align content with product and campaign goals.

🔹 Analytics & Optimization

• Use data and performance metrics to improve content outcomes (traffic, conversions, engagement).
• Stay on top of industry trends and optimize content delivery and formats.

✅ Ideal Candidate Profile

1. 15+ years in digital content, ideally in fintech/consumer tech/startups
2. Proven leadership in managing multi-format digital content at scale
3. Must have deep hands-on experience in video strategy and production for digital platforms
4. Track record of building and mentoring cross-functional content teams
5. Strong ability to map business goals to content strategy
6. Exceptional written and verbal storytelling skills
7. Bachelor's in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or related field
