Role: Associate Security Architect

You’ll design, review, and implement security architectures for Web3 infrastructure, including smart contracts, decentralized wallets, blockchain networks, and related Web2 applications. Your work will ensure CoinDCX’s tech stack is secure, compliant, and resilient against emerging threats.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 10+ years in Information Security
• 3+ years in Security Architecture & Solution Engineering
• Deep knowledge of cryptographic algorithms/protocols used in blockchain (hashing, public-key cryptography, zero-knowledge proofs)
• Experience with security architecture for applications and microservices
• Strong expertise in Blockchain Security, IAM, cloud & infrastructure security, application/data/network security, governance
• Hands-on with Secure SDLC, DevSecOps, CI/CD security integration
• Familiar with OWASP Top 10, SANS 25, penetration testing methodologies
• Knowledge of security standards: CCSS, NIST, ISO 27001/2, CSA, SOC 1&2, CIS
• Preferred certifications: CISSP, TOGAF/SABSA, Cloud security certs
• Ability to communicate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Leadership and mentoring skills

Key Responsibilities

• Design and review security architecture for Web3 and Web2 infrastructure
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate security early in development
• Monitor emerging blockchain/Web3 security threats and implement mitigations
• Develop incident response plans tailored for decentralized environments
• Implement cryptographic protocols and secure key management strategies
• Ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards
• Develop security policies bridging Web2 and Web3 security practices
• Conduct threat modeling, risk assessments, and security reviews
• Enhance Secure Development Lifecycle practices across teams
• Assess cloud and physical infrastructure for security risks
