Aus4Growth (A4G) – A development initiative funded by DFAT (Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade) supporting Vietnam’s economic development, with a strong focus on inclusion, clean energy, trade, digital transformation, and policy reform.

🎯 Role Purpose

To lead the GEDSI (Gender Equality, Disability, and Social Inclusion) domain within the A4G program—ensuring the integration of inclusive strategies into all program components and aligning with both DFAT and Government of Vietnam priorities.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Lead GEDSI strategy and its integration across all program domains and the Strategic Impact Fund (SIF)
• Oversee the Gender Equality, Disability, and Social Inclusion Analysis during the Inception Period
• Identify priority interventions aligned with Vietnam’s legislation and development goals
• Collaborate with Government of Vietnam ministries and agencies
• Integrate GEDSI into Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) frameworks
• Build capacity within the program team and partners on GEDSI principles
• Provide technical oversight, guidance, and ensure quality implementation

✅ Candidate Requirements

Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in gender studies, development, human rights, or similar field

Experience:

• Proven track record in GEDSI mainstreaming in international development programs
• Experience engaging with senior stakeholders (including government and private sector)
• Strong understanding of Vietnam’s socio-political context (highly desirable)
• Competency in planning, MEL, and adaptive programming

Skills:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Project management and leadership experience
• Ability to foster cross-functional collaboration in multicultural teams
