We are seeking a Trust & Safety Investigator to proactively identify and mitigate harmful content, including child exploitation, graphic violence, self-injury, and other emerging threats within the crypto industry. This role requires expertise in cybersecurity, threat intelligence, and trust & safety operations to protect our growing ecosystem of crypto, Bitcoin, Ethereum, and NFT users.

🚨 This role must be based on the West Coast (U.S.).

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Review and moderate sensitive content, ensuring compliance with crypto industry security standards and Web3 safety protocols.
• Investigate complex cases related to crypto scams, blockchain fraud, and cybersecurity threats affecting Bitcoin, Ethereum, and DeFi platforms.
• Develop in-depth reports on malicious actors, fraudulent cryptocurrency activities, and blockchain-based security breaches.
• Analyze risk factors in the crypto jobs ecosystem, evaluating threats and ensuring user privacy protection in real-time.
• Collaborate with internal teams and law enforcement agencies to combat crypto-related abuse and illicit blockchain activities.
• Proactively detect Web3 security threats, DeFi vulnerabilities, and NFT fraud using internal data, open-source intelligence, and private blockchain analytics tools.
• Assist users facing crypto-related security concerns, online threats, and digital asset protection issues.

What You Should Have:

• 1-2 years of experience in Trust & Safety moderation, cybersecurity, or blockchain security operations.
• Exposure to crypto security threats, smart contract vulnerabilities, and blockchain fraud prevention.
• Proficiency in a second language (Spanish, Portuguese, or Arabic preferred).
• Flexibility to work non-standard shifts, including weekends or holidays, to support global crypto security operations.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess threats to cryptocurrency platforms and decentralized applications (dApps).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present findings on crypto fraud investigations.

Bonus Points:

• Background in Cybersecurity, Blockchain Forensics, Intelligence Studies, or Criminology.
• Experience with SQL, Python, or other programming languages for blockchain data analysis.
• Familiarity with DeFi security protocols, NFT smart contract risks, and Bitcoin-related cyber threats.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive base salary ($109,000 - $120,000) + equity + benefits.
