Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for an Android Engineer in Binance's Accelerator Program. The role involves supporting the Android development team with designing, developing, and testing mobile applications. You'll work on coding in Kotlin or Java, collaborating with UI/UX designers, and optimizing app performance while applying the latest Android development frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in Android Development: Design, develop, and test mobile applications alongside the Android development team.
• Write Code: Develop maintainable, high-performance code in Kotlin or Java.
• Product Reviews: Participate in product requirement reviews and offer feasible technical solutions.
• Collaborate with UI/UX Designers: Work with designers to create high-quality user interfaces and interactive experiences.
• Troubleshoot & Optimize: Identify and fix bugs, and continuously work to optimize app performance.
• Learn & Apply Android Frameworks: Familiarize yourself with Android Jetpack, MVVM architecture, Material Design, and other relevant frameworks.
• Technical Documentation: Write technical documentation and assist in the release and deployment processes.

Requirements

• Core Skills: Proficiency in Java or Kotlin, with foundational knowledge of Android development.
• Android Studio Familiarity: Knowledge of Android Studio and basic components such as Activity, Fragment, RecyclerView, etc.
• Networking Knowledge: Understanding of RESTful APIs and network communication, with libraries like Retrofit and OkHttp.
• Version Control: Basic knowledge of Git version control.
• Collaboration: Strong learning ability and a collaborative, team-player mindset.
• University Enrollment: Currently enrolled in a university program related to Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a similar field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Android Development Frameworks: Familiarity with Jetpack components (LiveData, ViewModel, Room, etc.).
• Third-Party SDKs: Experience using Firebase, Google Maps, or other third-party SDKs.
• Cross-Platform Development: Experience with tools like Flutter or React Native.
