This role sits in Coinbase’s BizOps & Strategy team, a high-impact group that works across the company to:

• Drive strategic initiatives
• Solve complex operational problems
• Influence decision-making at the senior leadership level
• Build scalable processes to support company growth

This team functions similarly to an internal consulting and strategy unit—analytical, cross-functional, and fast-paced.

🔍 Key Responsibilities

• Solve complex, ambiguous business problems by defining hypotheses, testing assumptions, and creating scalable solutions
• Conduct competitive and crypto industry analysis to shape Coinbase’s strategic direction
• Build quantitative models and data-driven business cases
• Collaborate with Product, Finance, Data Science, and Ops to design and implement cross-functional strategies
• Identify operational gaps and optimize processes
• Support team development and internal process enhancements

✅ Minimum Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience in consulting, investment banking, hedge funds, or BizOps at a startup
• Bachelor's degree (MBA not required but preferred for Sr. Associate)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Proven project and time management capabilities
• Comfortable with ambiguity and operating in a rapidly changing environment
• Passion for crypto, Web3, or financial innovation

⭐ Nice to Have

• Crypto experience, either personal or professional
• Familiarity with Dune Analytics, Etherscan, or blockchain data tools
• SQL proficiency (a big plus for data-heavy projects)
• MBA or other advanced degree
