Job Description:

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Homeaide LLC, you will work under the direct supervision of Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide compassionate and essential care to patients in hospitals, nursing homes, and other healthcare facilities. This role involves assisting patients with their daily activities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being, and supporting the nursing team in delivering high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Assist patients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting.
• Vital Signs Monitoring: Take and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, respiration rate, and temperature.
• Mobility Assistance: Help patients with mobility, including transfers, repositioning, and walking.
• Patient Safety and Comfort: Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients by following hygiene protocols and ensuring safety precautions are in place.
• Patient Observation: Monitor patients’ physical and emotional conditions and report any significant changes to the nursing staff.
• Medical Assistance: Assist with basic medical procedures as directed by RNs or LPNs, such as blood pressure measurement, administering medications, and other clinical tasks.
• Documentation: Accurately document patient care activities and observations as required by the healthcare facility’s policies.

Qualifications:

• Certification: Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with current state certification.
• Experience: Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not required.
• Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work well in a team, and provide excellent patient care.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to assist patients with mobility and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Compassion: A caring and empathetic attitude toward patients and a passion for making a difference in their lives.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to observe and report changes in patients’ conditions accurately.
