Role Overview

Binance is seeking an experienced Commercial Counsel to support the growing digital asset market in the MENA region. This role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts, including digital asset loan agreements, with a focus on traditional financial institutions and other digital asset organizations.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate digital asset loan agreements, including agreements with traditional financial institutions and digital asset organizations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial contracts in the digital asset space (e.g., fiat ramps, marketing agreements).
• Provide support for day-to-day commercial contracting, including service agreements and customer/supplier documents.
• Collaborate with product, operations, admin, and risk teams to support existing and new business initiatives in MENA and globally.
• Monitor and interpret developments in the digital asset space in MENA and provide updates.
• Mentor and train junior lawyers in the team.

Requirements

• 3-6 years PQE with direct experience in loan/finance transactions, preferably from a global law firm or well-regarded in-house organization.
• Strong understanding and experience in drafting and analyzing commercial contracts.
• Familiarity with MENA legal frameworks, especially in the UAE and Bahrain.
