Compliance EDD/High Risk Client Analyst

Job Overview

Binance is looking for a Compliance EDD/High Risk Client Analyst to join their team. In this role, you’ll be supporting the completion of Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) reviews for high-risk customers, assessing transaction activities, and conducting risk assessments for new and existing clients. You will also provide expertise on Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter Financing of Terrorism (CFT) processes.

Key Responsibilities

• EDD Reviews: Support the completion of EDD reviews for high-risk customers.
• Transaction Assessments: Assess high-risk customer transaction activity to ensure it aligns with the nature of their business.
• Risk Assessments: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for both new and existing customers.
• Lead EDD Projects: Take the lead on projects related to EDD enhancements.
• Stay Current with Standards: Remain up to date on global EDD standards, such as FATF, as well as local requirements in Binance's operational regions.
• AML/CFT Expertise: Provide subject matter expertise in AML and CFT matters.
• Escalations: Manage escalations related to high-risk customers from the first line of defense and other business units.
• Documentation: Draft key documentation such as policies, procedures, guidance, training materials, and impact assessments.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience with corporate due diligence and risk assessments.
• Complex Structures: Experience with complex beneficial ownership structures.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with global licensing requirements related to financial services and crypto businesses.
• AML/CFT Understanding: Strong understanding of AML/CFT and sanctions risks.
• Certifications: ACAMS, ACFCS, or other relevant certifications are an advantage.
• Skills: Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and writing skills.
• Languages: Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
