About the Role

The Compliance - KYC Analyst role at Binance focuses on supporting compliance efforts related to Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) functions within the company. The role involves special assignments, quality assurance checks, and working with various stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance. Binance is looking for someone who can handle detailed investigations, propose process improvements, and manage compliance reviews.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead special assignments and projects, supporting regional teams in compliance checks.
• Propose enhancements for compliance procedures and processes.
• Conduct customer risk assessments, periodic/trigger reviews, and enhanced due diligence.
• Work with key stakeholders (MLROs, Account Managers, VIP clients) on compliance-related matters.
• Use compliance tools like World Check or Neterium for customer risk assessments.
• Identify unusual activity and document AML (Anti-Money Laundering) flags.
• Participate in internal/external training on AML/CFT and compliance topics.

Requirements

• Experience: At least 3+ years of experience in a compliance role with a strong understanding of relevant regulations.
• Skills: Excellent written communication, organizational skills, investigative skills, and attention to detail.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with local laws and regulations related to virtual currencies and financial crime prevention.
• Certifications: ACAMS certification is desirable.
• Language: Proficiency in English is required to liaise with international stakeholders.
