Compliance, US Investigations Associate (Remote - US)
âś… Key Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in AML investigations, including SAR preparation and filing
- Industry Experience: Cryptocurrency or blockchain-related experience is essential
- Skills:
- Ability to investigate ambiguous and complex cases, applying multiple techniques
- Experience with AML, BSA/AML, and OFAC compliance matters
- Strong written and communication skills, including presenting to senior management and regulators
- Familiarity with tools like SQL, Looker, SuperSet, or Snowflake is a plus
đź§ Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct deep investigations into high-risk cases, including fraud, money laundering, and terror financing
- Prepare regulatory reports such as SAR (Suspicious Activity Report) filings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for continued activity reviews (CARs)
- Maintain detailed records in compliance with BSA/AML and USA PATRIOT Act regulations
- Stay updated with evolving KYC, AML, and OFAC standards and practices
