About the Role

As a Senior Manager of Vendor Management within the Customer Experience (CX) organization, you will be the bridge between Coinbase and its strategic BPO partners, ensuring world-class support and compliance operations. You will oversee operational excellence, performance management, and drive continuous improvement for Coinbase's compliance support services.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and scale the Compliance BPO Operations and Vendor Management team
• Ensure performance excellence across key metrics (quality, staffing, training, attrition, efficiency)
• Hold vendors accountable to Coinbase's operational and contractual standards
• Manage capacity planning, workforce forecasting, and resource allocation
• Oversee recruitment and retention of top-tier talent within partner organizations
• Collaborate cross-functionally to meet compliance, quality, and customer service goals
• Identify and resolve complex technical, process, and operational issues
• Lead continuous improvement and automation initiatives
• Drive data-driven decision-making and process optimization

Requirements

• 5+ years of vendor management or compliance operations experience
• Background in managing BPO operations, preferably in Compliance or Financial Services
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven track record in leading cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment
• Solid understanding of budgeting and financial planning
• Experience driving transformational projects and process improvement
• Strong data analysis skills and ability to make informed, data-backed decisions
• Familiarity with compliance domains (KYC, AML, Sanctions) is a plus
• Deep understanding of financial services operations and emerging crypto trends

Nice to Have

• Proficiency with BI tools (Looker, Salesforce)
• Basic SQL knowledge
• AML system experience
• Professional certifications (CRCM, CAMS, CIA, CISA, CICA)
• Genuine interest or experience in cryptocurrency



Compensation

💰 Base Salary Range: $185,215 — $217,900 (USD)
