🏢 Role Summary
Title: Coordinator, Workplace Operations
Location: United States (Remote-first with in-office participation expected)
Pay Rate: $39.62/hr
Type: Full-time
Experience Required: 1–2 years in hospitality, events, office coordination, or workplace operations
🔑 Core Responsibilities
📬 Mailroom Operations
- Receive, sort, distribute, and track incoming mail and packages
- Prepare and ship outgoing mail (domestic & international), manage postage and labeling
- Maintain records and mailroom supplies
- Coordinate with carriers and vendors
- Follow security protocols for sensitive deliveries
🖥️ Office Operations Support
- Greet employees, guests, vendors
- Manage workplace issue tickets (Jira) and track recurring problems
- Manage office supplies, pantry, signage, digital screens
🎉 Event & Program Execution
- Support logistics for employee and external events, summits, culture programs
- Set up/break down event spaces including catering and tech checks
🙋 Employee Support
- Answer questions calmly via Slack/in-person
- Prepare onboarding welcome kits
- Serve as office resource
📋 Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain playbooks, checklists, signage templates
- Report on office usage, tickets, supply status
- Suggest improvements
👤 Ideal Candidate Profile
- 1–2 years experience in hospitality, events, office coordination, or workplace ops
- Friendly, service-oriented attitude
- Highly organized and dependable multitasker
- Problem solver with creative thinking skills
- Comfortable with Jira & Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Slides)
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with event setups
- Available to work onsite regularly
- Willing to travel up to 10% for major events
