About the Role:

Join the Risk Strategy team at PhonePe to build and optimize fraud and credit risk strategies for its growing lending business. This role requires strong analytical, technical, and cross-functional collaboration skills to manage portfolio risk and enable scalable lending solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement risk strategies for fraud and credit risk in lending
• Build statistical risk models (e.g., logistic regression, gradient boosting)
• Analyze portfolio data to manage risk and predict Expected Credit Loss (ECL)
• Leverage alternate data sources for improved risk assessments
• Work with product and engineering teams to build anomaly detection tools
• Continuously evaluate and improve risk solutions

Qualifications:

• B.Tech/BE from Tier-I/II institutes
• 1–2 years of experience in risk analytics (preferably FinTech)
• Strong in SQL, Python, and MS Excel
• Experience with statistical modeling techniques
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
