📍 Amsterdam, Netherlands (Remote-First, Some Onsite) | 💼 Full-Time | 🕘 Tuesday–Saturday, 9 AM–6 PM CEST

About the Role

Discord is seeking a Customer Experience Associate focused on account security to join its global support team. You’ll be on the frontlines, helping users resolve account access issues (login problems, password resets, suspicious activity), while ensuring best-in-class protection and education around account security.

This role requires exceptional communication skills, empathy, and patience, and is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced support environments and cares deeply about user trust and safety.

What You'll Do

• Provide timely, accurate, and compassionate support to users experiencing account security or login issues.
• Investigate unauthorized activity, implement protocols, and educate users on best security practices.
• Monitor user security trends and recommend improvements in process and user education.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve product and support processes.
• Contribute to internal documentation and external help content.
• Work remotely, with occasional in-office presence in Amsterdam.

You Should Have

• Experience in technical or customer support roles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English (fluency in Portuguese, Russian, French, German, or Turkish is a plus).
• Familiarity with desktop and mobile platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a calm, patient demeanor.
• Experience with support platforms (e.g. Zendesk, Salesforce) is preferred.
