🧠 Role Overview:

This position blends quantitative finance, machine learning, and natural language understanding (NLU). You'll use advanced NLP techniques on news and social media data to develop predictive trading strategies and build intelligent models for data-driven financial decision-making.

🎯 Key Responsibilities:

• Research and implement quantitative trading strategies using NLU/NLP techniques such as:
• Sentiment analysis
• Intent detection
• Named-entity recognition
• Analyze large-scale datasets to uncover predictive trading signals.
• Build and refine machine learning models using Python/R and frameworks like Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Perform rigorous backtesting of strategies using historical data and optimize for performance and risk mitigation.

✅ Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Financial Engineering, or a related field (Bachelor’s or Master’s).
• Strong understanding of NLU/NLP methods and tools (e.g., SpaCy, NLTK, Transformers).
• Proficiency in Python or R, and experience with ML libraries.
• Solid background in mathematics and statistics, including time-series analysis.
• Strong analytical and teamwork skills.
• Mandarin proficiency is required for effective collaboration with regional teams.
