About the Role

Data Scientists at Coinbase are essential partners in product and strategy development. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Design to surface key insights, validate hypotheses, and shape data-informed decisions.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct deep-dive analyses to inform product strategy and identify opportunities.
• Design and guide A/B tests and other experimental frameworks to evaluate feature performance and business impact.
• Develop and maintain key performance metrics, dashboards, and analytical tools.
• Partner with engineering to improve data collection and infrastructure for scalable, robust analysis.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science).
• 2+ years of experience in a data science, product analytics, or quantitative analysis role.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and data manipulation techniques.
• Proficiency in Python for statistical modeling and analysis.
• Solid understanding of statistical principles and experience with A/B testing, causal inference, or machine learning.
• Experience driving measurable impact on a digital product in an agile, iterative environment.
• Strong communication skills and a bias toward collaboration and continuous learning.
