🧭 Role Overview

Title: Director, Treasury Strategy

Location: U.S. Remote (In-person offsites required)

Salary Range: $245,140 – $288,400 (plus bonus, equity & benefits)

Level: Senior Director

Team: Treasury Operations (Reports to Head of Treasury Ops)

🚀 Role Purpose

This is a strategic leadership role focused on building a world-class treasury function that:

• Manages liquidity and risk
• Ensures compliance with global regulations
• Optimizes investment returns (cash + digital assets)
• Supports scalable and automated treasury infrastructure
• Enables new product launches and growth

💼 Key Responsibilities

You will lead:

• Liquidity Strategy: Optimize reserves, bank relationships, intercompany funding, and forecasting
• Risk Management: Oversee frameworks for FX, insurance, digital asset risk, etc.
• Compliance: Align operations with AML, KYC, safeguarding, and reporting requirements
• Investment Optimization: Manage corporate investment portfolios (cash & crypto)
• Treasury Infrastructure: Identify automation opportunities and partner with tech to execute
• Product Enablement: Support treasury integration into product launches, stablecoin programs, etc.

✅ Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in Treasury, Finance, or related fields
• 5+ years in a senior leadership role within a global, fast-paced org
• Deep understanding of global capital structures, intercompany funding, and regulatory frameworks
• Strong relationships with banks, payment providers, fintech platforms
• Expertise in treasury management systems (TMS) and automation tools
• Track record in driving strategic vision and influencing at the executive level

• Experience with crypto, blockchain, or DeFi in a corporate treasury context
• Technical background in managing digital assets
• Certifications (e.g., CFA, CTP, CPA)
• Advanced degree (MBA, MS Finance, etc.)
• Strong grasp of global financial compliance
