Position Overview:

AMC is seeking a Donor Engagement Manager to enhance donor relations and expand our fundraising initiatives within the crypto, blockchain, and Web3 space. This role is ideal for a development professional with experience in donor relations, event planning, and stakeholder engagement who is also passionate about cryptocurrency, NFTs, and decentralized finance (DeFi). The successful candidate will help cultivate relationships with donors in the crypto ecosystem and oversee digital fundraising strategies tailored to Web3 communities.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute donor engagement strategies targeting crypto and Web3 donors.
• Organize virtual and in-person events, including Web3 fundraising campaigns, NFT drops, and blockchain-powered donation drives.
• Foster relationships with high-net-worth individuals and crypto-native investors.
• Plan and execute President’s Society Adventures, virtual meetups, and fundraising events tailored for the crypto community.
• Work closely with the marketing and communications team to develop crypto-centric donor messaging, leveraging blockchain transparency for donor impact reporting.
• Manage partnerships with crypto payment platforms, DAO communities, and Web3 influencers to expand AMC’s donor base.
• Oversee donor stewardship efforts, ensuring crypto donors receive recognition and impact reports through blockchain-enabled platforms.
• Coordinate donor communications, newsletters, and social media campaigns targeting the crypto and Web3 audience.
• Maintain accurate records of crypto donations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and nonprofit reporting standards.
• Stay informed about emerging trends in crypto philanthropy, decentralized finance (DeFi), and blockchain governance.

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience in donor relations, fundraising, or event planning.
• Strong knowledge of cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, and Web3 fundraising methods.
• Experience with donor engagement within high-net-worth and crypto investor communities.
• Exceptional writing, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with CRM software and donor databases (Salesforce experience is a plus).
• Familiarity with crypto donation platforms (e.g., The Giving Block, Endaoment, Gitcoin Grants).
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize deadlines, and work independently.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-service orientation.
• Passion for outdoor recreation and environmental conservation preferred.
• Willingness to travel and participate in outdoor events, including backcountry experiences.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary Range: $55,494 - $74,879 (Based on experience and location)
