Overview:

Support Coinbase’s compliance operations by conducting detailed reviews of customer investigations, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal quality standards within the CX Compliance team. Help maintain high-quality, consistent compliance handling through analysis, documentation, and feedback.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze enhanced due diligence (EDD) investigations and KYC data.
• Investigate alerts from transaction monitoring and referrals from law enforcement and internal teams.
• Document investigations and maintain compliance records.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance and compliance teams to improve processes.
• Stay updated on regulatory requirements such as BSA/AML, OFAC, and KYC standards.
• Support a 24/7 operational environment, including night and weekend shifts.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years experience in financial services, crypto, compliance, investigations, or related fields.
• Experience in quality review and control frameworks.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets, Docs, Excel, and Word.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment with attention to detail.
• Willingness to work onsite in Charlotte with flexible shift schedules.

Nice to Have:

• AML/Fraud certifications (e.g., CAMS, CFCS, CFE).
• Experience with project management, analytics, or vendor management.
• Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Hummingbird, Salesforce Service Cloud.
• Experience working with external vendors.
