About the Role:

Lead and mentor a global engineering team focused on revolutionizing mobile app development with Flutter. Drive adoption of Flutter across the company while delivering high-quality, scalable mobile applications and core platform components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor engineers, fostering growth and team cohesion.
• Manage projects, collaborating with product and engineering leads to meet objectives.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on Flutter and mobile development.
• Develop, test, maintain, and deploy Flutter/Dart applications.
• Run agile processes: sprint planning, estimations, daily standups.
• Collaborate on building a robust technical roadmap for the team.

Must-Have Skills:

• 7+ years commercial software development experience.
• 2+ years team leadership experience.
• 2+ years developing Flutter apps.
• 2-5 years native iOS/Android or front-end web development experience.
• Experience working with distributed, global teams.
• Strong knowledge of Flutter app architecture, state management, and flavors.
• Self-motivated with problem-solving focus and innovative mindset.
• Excellent communication skills and English proficiency.
• Availability for meetings 7-11 AM Pacific Time.

Bonus (Nice-to-Have):

• Experience building marketplace apps/software.
• Familiarity with Firebase, Azure DevOps, PWA.
• Additional Android/iOS development skills.
