Role Overview:

Lead and grow a high-performing engineering team focused on building learner-facing experiences using AI, personalization, and content recommendations. Drive execution, technical strategy, and collaboration across functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage roadmap, delivery, and team performance
• Lead complex backend systems using Kotlin, Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, MySQL, DynamoDB
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and data science
• Support growth and development of engineers through coaching and feedback
• Balance speed, scalability, and system reliability in solutions

Requirements:

• Strong leadership and systems thinking
• Deep technical knowledge: Kotlin/Java, Kafka, GraphQL, Redis, Kubernetes, Terraform
• Experience managing cross-functional engineering teams in a SaaS/tech environment
