Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership and Development

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and support the professional growth of your team members.
• Drive the recruitment and onboarding of new team members, ensuring the team is equipped with top talent to meet business needs.

Project Management

• Plan, prioritize, and oversee engineering projects, ensuring timely, within-scope, and within-budget delivery.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements, goals, and deliverables.
• Continuously monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.

Technical Oversight

• Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team in the development, testing, and deployment of software/hardware solutions.
• Ensure that code quality, maintainability, and performance standards are consistently met.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in blockchain technology, cryptocurrency, NFT, and DeFi platforms, and incorporate innovative solutions into the team’s work.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Collaborate closely with other departments such as product management, operations, and sales, ensuring alignment between engineering goals and business objectives.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across teams to ensure cohesive progress toward company goals.

Resource Management

• Manage engineering resources effectively, ensuring that all projects are adequately staffed and supported.
• Optimize processes to improve team efficiency and productivity.

Innovation and Process Improvement

• Actively identify opportunities for process improvements and drive the adoption of best practices in software engineering.
• Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging the team to experiment with new solutions and technologies like smart contracts, Ethereum, and Bitcoin.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in engineering management, with a proven track record of successfully leading and scaling teams in the crypto or blockchain space.
• Extensive experience in team management, including mentoring, performance evaluations, and creating a collaborative, growth-oriented work environment.
• Strong technical expertise, with experience in designing and implementing scalable, high-performance software systems.
• Proficiency with AWS services and hands-on experience in AWS SAM (Serverless Application Model) for deploying and managing serverless applications.
• Familiarity with modern development practices and tools, including version control, CI/CD pipelines, and testing frameworks.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive results.
• Ability to drive innovation, manage competing priorities, and support continuous improvement.
• English proficiency at an Upper Intermediate level or higher.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience in cryptocurrency, crypto trading platforms, or Web3 jobs remote.
• Knowledge of DeFi platforms, smart contracts, and blockchain technology.
• Familiarity with NFT and emerging trends in the crypto space.
