🔹 Engineering Manager – Consumer (New Product Vertical)

Location: Remote (U.S.-based)

Salary Range: $218,025 – $256,500 USD/year (+ bonus, equity, and benefits)

🚀 About the Role:

You’ll be the founding engineering leader of a new product initiative — Coinbase for Business — aimed at building a B2B-facing financial toolset. This includes features like international payments, payroll, and invoicing for businesses. It’s a 0→1 role with full engineering ownership.

🔧 Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end engineering for a brand-new Coinbase for Business product
• Architect scalable systems to support B2B fintech features
• Build MVPs and prototypes (hands-on coding involved)
• Hire, manage, and grow a team of ~6 individual contributors
• Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate key product features (onboarding, payment rails, compliance, tax, etc.)
• Write clean, well-tested, production-quality code

✅ Requirements:

• Fintech experience (B2B strongly preferred, B2C acceptable)
• Track record of building on sophisticated platforms with high cross-team interaction
• Demonstrated 0→1 product experience — either at a startup or new internal initiatives
• Solid engineering fundamentals and leadership acumen

• Crypto-native experience (e.g. Ethereum, ENS, dApps)
• Familiarity with onchain business tools or blockchain-based finance
