Overview:

Discord is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Growth - Experiences team, focused on improving user acquisition, engagement, and retention. You'll guide a team of full-stack engineers, collaborate with cross-functional partners, and use data-driven strategies to scale and refine user experiences that drive community growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and grow a team of full-stack engineers
• Drive roadmap execution in collaboration with Product, Design, Data Science, and Marketing
• Use experimentation and metrics to optimize user onboarding and retention
• Maintain high technical standards and support engineering best practices
• Partner with company leadership for long-term strategy and planning

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
• 2+ years as an Engineering Manager
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
• Experience delivering scalable user-facing features
• Passion for experimentation, analytics, and team development
• Willingness to be based in (or relocate to) the San Francisco Bay Area
