Salary Range: $218K – $256.5K USD annually (+ bonus, equity, benefits)

About the Role:

Lead and manage the engineering team responsible for the liquidity and bridging platform within Coinbase Wallets. This platform orchestrates liquidity movements powering custodial sends and receives across 60+ blockchains and millions of daily users. The focus is on delivering sub-second, scalable, secure, and compliant liquidity systems globally.

What You’ll Do:

• Define and drive long-term vision and engineering strategy for liquidity & bridging platform
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align roadmap with business goals
• Lead and mentor engineers, fostering growth, ownership, and technical excellence
• Oversee engineering execution and ensure delivery of high-quality scalable systems
• Hands-on participation in code reviews, incident management, and troubleshooting as needed

What Coinbase Looks For:

• 7+ years software engineering experience
• 2+ years engineering management experience
• Deep understanding of software engineering best practices and code quality
• Experience building & operating multi-tenant distributed systems at scale
• Strong execution mindset and ability to work through ambiguity
• Passion for building an open financial system

Nice to Haves:

• Experience with blockchain technologies (Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc.)
• Familiarity with on-chain activity (ENS, dApps, wallet interactions)
• Strong operational excellence and communication skills
