🛡️ Team & Role Overview

• Team: Security Services Group (SSG), part of InfoSec.
• Focuses on:
• Identity & Access Management (IAM)
• IT Asset Management (ITAM)
• Data & Endpoint Security
• Security Logging
• Role:
• Lead a high-performing, remote team of engineers.
• Architect, design, and build internal security tooling and features (access control, least privilege, suspicious behavior detection).
• Collaborate with Platform, Product, Security Engineering, Compliance, and others.
• Balance backend/frontend development, infrastructure, and security use cases.

🧰 Tech & Skills Required

• 8+ years in backend/frontend/full-stack development.
• 4+ years managing teams (5+ engineers).
• Strong programming experience (especially in Go, Ruby, Python, React).
• Familiarity with security best practices, even if not a security expert.
• Comfortable with databases, complex SQL, and tools like MongoDB/Snowflake.
• Able to independently manage work and communicate asynchronously.
• Nice to have:
• Experience with Kubernetes on AWS
• Exposure to AI or Crypto

💰 Compensation

• Salary: $217,900 CAD – $260,100 CAD
• Includes bonus + equity + benefits
