🧠 Team & Mission

You’ll join the Agent Productivity Tools (APT) team, which builds internal platforms to enhance customer service and compliance (KYC) processes. Your work will help Coinbase agents resolve user issues more accurately and efficiently, improving the overall customer experience.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Build full-stack apps and tools to boost productivity of internal users (e.g., customer service agents).
• Develop backend services in Golang.
• Design scalable cloud systems using modern best practices.
• Integrate 3rd-party tools and services via APIs.
• Write well-tested, production-ready code.
• Participate in code reviews and architectural decisions.
• Triage and debug challenging system-level issues.
• Own service reliability, performance, and security.
• Collaborate with product, design, and leadership teams.

📋 Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of software engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with Golang in a production environment.
• Experience with:
• AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform
• CI/CD tools like BuildKite
• Service-oriented architectures
• Third-party API integrations
• Event-driven systems (Kafka, MQ)
• SQL/NoSQL databases
• Performance tooling: caching, rate limiting, circuit breakers, observability
• Familiarity with gRPC, GraphQL, and ETL pipelines.
